Kiran Rao, who was not too long ago in talks for her second directorial Laapataa Girls, which was appreciated by audiences, opened up about her battle to develop into a mom in an interview with a number one portal.
She was requested if she ever regretted taking a 10-year pause to lift her son Azad. Kiran revealed that turning into a mom was powerful for her and that for 5 years, she handled miscarriages, private, and bodily well being points.
Regardless of the challenges, she actually needed to be a mom and have a toddler.
She revealed that when Azad was born in 2011 through surrogacy, all she needed to do was be beside him and lift him. She added that she does not remorse that point and loved herself to the fullest.
Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan welcomed Azad in 2011 through surrogacy. Though the couple have divorced, they proceed to co-parent their baby.
Laapataa Girls, directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and Jyoti Deshpande, was screened on the Toronto Movie Competition and later launched on September 8, 2023.
