Morgan Wallen has apologized for his arrest in reference to a chair-throwing incident from the roof of a Nashville bar.
On April 7, the 30-year-old nation star was arrested on three felony costs, based on the Metropolitan Nashville Police Division.
Wallen addressed his arrest at the moment in a press release posted to his X account.
“I didn’t really feel proper publicly checking in till I made amends with some of us. I’ve touched base with Nashville legislation enforcement, my household, and the great individuals at Chief’s. I’m not happy with my habits, and I settle for duty,” he wrote. “I’ve the utmost respect for the officers working day by day to maintain us all protected. Relating to my tour, there shall be no change.”
The singer’s arrest got here days after he kicked off the 2024 leg of his “One Night time at a Time World Tour” earlier this month. He’s set to resume it on Saturday in Oxford, Mississippi.
Two officers have been in entrance of Chief’s Bar, a six-story bar-restaurant on Broadway, on the time of the incident. They noticed the chair fall, Nashville police mentioned.
Wallen was arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
