Eric Carmen, who was the frontman of energy pop band the Raspberries earlier than occurring to solo success, has died at age 74.

Carmen was born within the Cleveland, Ohio suburbs in 1949. He first rose to fame with the Raspberries’ breakout hit, “Go All of the Means.” The band broke up, and by the mid-Seventies, Carmen moved on as a profitable solo artist with “All by Myself” and “By no means Gonna Fall in Love Once more.” His run of hits continued into the ’80s with the tune “Hungry Eyes.”
His former supervisor, David Spero, shared an announcement after studying of his passing:
“I simply heard the information that my lifelong buddy and former consumer, Eric Carmen has handed away. His skills have been world famend and his legacy as a songwriter is understood all through the trade.
